Photoshop has goooofed.
Well, not in the traditional sense. I have it on my Pc, right (which, by the way, I get on about once every three weeks for half an hour, if I'm lucky), and I didn't have it on my laptop before.. just had internet etc, so I sort of live off my laptop most days.

My brother(who is the reason I never get on the Pc, he is infuriatingly obsessed with that World of Warcraft game - on at least 8hours daily, and that's on a 'low' day; when he's not on it he's either sleeping or literally does not know what to do with himself), in an effort to stop me occaisionally making(mostly fruitless) efforts to get on so I could actually reach Photoshop for oh I don't know, a second, said he'd get me PS on my laptop.

Fair enough, I suppose.. not ideal because the track pad would make it slightly more difficult to cut and I'd probably get Carpal Tunnel or something, but when I first got PS back in '05 it was on this very same laptop(albeit CS2, not CS3 like it is now), so it has a certain sentimentality going for it.

Anyway, I agreed, and he did all the stuff you do to get it, blahblahblah. But when he goes to open it to put in the Key or Serial Number or whatever it is, PS quits loading right at the very end and says,
Runtime Error!
Program: C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Photoshop.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact that application's support team for more information.

And then shuts itself. I dabble in HTML, I know my way around a computer well(better than many teenage girls) but this is uncharted waters for me - see, when I was younger if the computer messed up I'd be able to fix it myself, but big, scary viruses and "!!!" error messages I'd leave to my brother - therefor, I never learned to deal with them. I miss PS Anyone know what to do?
